Vision & Philosophy

My name is Alisha Brown and all of these images were taken by me.  I envision the picture before I shoot the photo.  I have a spiritual connection with what I’m working with, whether it is a still life form or human.  I am motivated to find extraordinary ways to look at god’s gifts of beauty and nature­-ways that others don’t see in any given image.  

Photography is exciting and gives me a drive, a desire to express myself and live a full life.  It is not only self-fulfillment that I’m searching for, I also want to make a discovery for others--hoping that my photography shapes their lives in some way, the way it does mine.  Photography is a mystery that heals and fulfills people’s lives and that’s what I hope my images bring to people.
